This Tweak is simulating the Mazda RX8 13B. It can be simulated stock or with some modifies. The stock RX8 has 232 bhp @ 8500 RPM but you can add to it two turbo options: a 5.6 PSI turbo that is generating 373 bhp @ 8900 RPM or a 9 PSI turbo that is generating 460 bhp @ 8900 RPM. Also to handle the power that the turbo is generating you can put wider tyres: 245/35 on the front with 255/35 on the rear or 265/30 on the front with 315/25 on the rear.

-Power: 173 kW (232 bhp) @ 8504rpm
-Torque: 227 Nm (167 lbft) @ 5517rpm
-Wheels: 225/40 Front and Rear
How to use it:
1. Download and Unrar the file linked below anywhere in your computer.
2. Run the game and the .exe file from the archive.
3. Press the Stock RX8 Button and if you want more power and grip press a turbo and a tyre button.
4. Copy the .set file from the archive to LFS_FOLDER/data/setups/
5. Test the Mazda RX8 with the 13B engine and the Drift setup for it.

The car, as far as I know, has two *rotors*. Each rotor is roughly equivalent to 3 cylindars. If no other options are available, the car should be modeled as a V6 with a displacement roughly 3 times its actual.
ReplyDeleteFirst time doing this... I followed all your instructions but the tweak didn't seem to work for me. Here's what I did:
ReplyDelete1. Copied the drift setup onto the LFS setup folder
2. Opened LFS and the .exe file
3. Selected the turbo and tyre options
4. Selected the "drift" setup and went into the game
I didn't notice any increase in power, did I do something wrong?
